Our policies

What to expect before you book, in plain words.

Booking and deposits

Book online at any hour, or call. There is no deposit: your time is held when you book, and Rodrick confirms by text or email, whichever you choose. Stubble is by appointment only.

Canceling and running late

Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit. With one chair and one esthetician, a late change leaves an empty hour. Arriving late may shorten your visit, because the next hour is held for someone else.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a visit without telling us, Rodrick may ask for a card on file before he holds your next one. He is glad to rebook you.

Children and companions

Stubble sees adults, 18 and over. A client under 18 comes with a parent or guardian, who signs the booking and waits in the next room. The room is small and private, so a friend or partner waits in the hall.

Patch tests and allergies

Rodrick tries a new product on a small area first and waits before using it on your whole face. Tell him about sensitivities and allergies when you book, on the booking page. Reactions can happen with any skin product; if one does, tell Rodrick and he will change the plan.

If you're not happy

If you're not happy, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right. Rodrick would rather hear it than not.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay.

Before your visit

Come as you are from work. Shave the way you normally would that day; if Rodrick would rather you didn't, he will tell you when you book. Bring or photograph what you shave with and what you put on afterward. His guidance is general, and he confirms it with you.

When to ask your doctor first

If you use a prescription skin medicine, have a skin condition a doctor is managing, or have had surgery or an injury on your face lately, ask your doctor before you book. Tell Rodrick at booking so he can plan around it. He may suggest a dermatologist or your doctor if he sees something a facial shouldn't touch.

Book a visit

Choose a time on Rodrick's booking page, or send a message and he'll reply by text or email.
